It's pretty sweet. Crazy hearing him on the radio, but I guess it's what all artist want; to be known and have their shit play on the radio. It's weird for people who know an artist before they blow up and once they are known and recognized how those people who knew about them before grow a dislike to them. It's not so much the artist them self they don't like but what follows them with being "popular": having people ask if you have heard so-and so and how awesome they are, when in fact you had heard them a year early introducing that same person to them, and their response to them was, "Mehhh not for me." Or if you were to mention anything about or by the artist you are grouped in with the hype that has been bestowed upon them with their new found fame. I will willingly admit that I am one of those people. I get annoyed when people ask me about an artist who I have shown them previously, and I am skeptical to post anything about them, knowing that someone would think that I am part of the wave of hype surrounding them.
